  • 2014 Star Bolt Build-Off #6 – COMPLETED

We did it. The Bolt is complete and we want to start right off by thanking Star Motorcycles for giving us the opportunity to be a part of this build off. We also need to thank Dekker Designs for help with the CNC work and parts prototyping with us, Works Performance for the shock help, JP Custom Seats for the seat upholstery and the prompt service, Glam Rock Cycles for plasma work and awesome parts, Gina Edwards for the photography (818) 631-9280 and Bill Marygold Pinstriping (818) 631-3426.

For all the details on what was done to the bike we invite you to read the previous 5 blog posts. We will state however that the complete rear-end of the bike we designed as well as the chin scoop will be available for purchase from us soon (as soon as we can get the stuff on the site) so if you’re interested in these items just hit us up on our contact page so we can add you to the mailing list once ready to go.

And now for the eye candy…

Here is the final installment video. We hope you have enjoyed watching this build from start to finish, it was a lot of fun for us to work together on a bike from beginning to end. Cheers!

It’s beautiful. I really like it. I can’t imagine why Yamaha didn’t fit a chin-scoop as stock, cos it totally finishes the frame. Dragbars look awesome, muffler is a style I love, and that paintjob is SICK! 🙂
Where do I drop my vote?

    • As soon as the voting is up on the Star Motorcycles website we will let everyone know! Glad you like it.

How do get subtle and in your face at the same time ? !! Absolutely beautiful ! We’re doing the same thing here in Ireland. The only difference is Derek is 32 and I’m 67. We’re currently doing a Yamaha as a Dirt Track bike. Considering the weather there is a big scene here. Just to keep you guys accessed I saw this on EXIF. You probably already know that.
